Endearing the Civil
My trip to the middle east is nearing its end quite fast now. I have about 4 days left. I can see my parents are already dreading my leaving – but I have to finish my time at University. I have to get that piece of paper and then pursue bigger accomplishments. Business is on pause for now. I have three websites and a corporate branding project to complete. I know once January 9th hits, everything will be put in high gear.

Tentative marks from first semester are in. Not as good as I expected but good. People tell me I’m doing excellent, but there’s always place for improvement.

I’ve been busy the past two days visiting family friends, shopping and eating great food. I went skating yesterday morning only to realize that half this contry is interlocking brick. The other half is roads with road rage ridden drivers. I’ll endure the vibrations of the interlocking until I find smoother ground. Next time I’m going to skate at a park. Majority of the good parks in Dubai require payment to enter. It’s like $1 CDN, but it’s worth the smooth surfaces and scenic hills along the gulf. The country sure is beautiful and annoyning at the same time. People are as abnoctious as Americans quite often. Driving huge 4x4s and cutting smaller fish off. I keep wishing I had a tray of eggs to chuck at all the people blaring their horns and being pricks to pedestrians. Some people sure are inconsiderate.
Â
I guess I should get back to spending time with the ‘rents. Mum’s making my favourite dish – Daal with rice. Also going to have some meatball curry. I can taste it now *drool*. Some visitors are heard from Canada and we’ll be going to a swanky 5 star restaurant.
Â
well… I’m out. Yet another beautiful sunny, perfect day. Wow.
